The NBA season has ended with a massive payday for New York backers (June 15-21). The stakes were high, and the Knicks delivered:
New York Reigns Supreme: The Knicks captured the NBA Championship, systematically breaking down the San Antonio Spurs. Their gritty defense and clutch shooting made them a bettor's dream.
Brunson's Masterpiece: Jalen Brunson took home the Finals MVP hardware. Bettors who heavily wagered on his Player Prop Over lines profited massively as he carried the offensive load.
Looking Ahead to the Draft: With the Finals concluded, sharp bettors are now turning their attention to the upcoming NBA Draft prop bets and offseason trade odds.
Locally, the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals could end this week, and the series lines have drastically shifted:
Ginebra's Ultimate Advantage: Barangay Ginebra holds a commanding 3-1 lead. Their rebounding and elite playmaking are allowing Ginebra to exploit the exact gaps left in TNT's interior defense.
TNT's Uphill Battle: TNT Tropang 5G must rely on heroics from their veteran guards to stay alive. If they go cold from behind the arc early, covering the point spread will be impossible.
Injuries are the biggest line-movers in championship basketball. Keep these updates in mind:
| Player Name | Team | Injury | Status for This Week |
| Calvin Oftana | TNT Tropang 5G (PBA) | Calf Strain | Day-to-Day |
| Japeth Aguilar | Brgy. Ginebra (PBA) | Knee Sprain | Probable |
| Kelly Williams | TNT Tropang 5G (PBA) | Shoulder Sprain | Probable |
Matchup 1: Barangay Ginebra vs. TNT Tropang 5G (PBA Game 5)
Analysis: TNT lacks the interior size to stop Ginebra's constant rim pressure. Take Barangay Ginebra to comfortably cover the point spread and win the championship on their home floor.
Matchup 2: 2026 NBA Draft Props
Analysis: With the season over, look at Draft positional odds. Betting on European prospects to be drafted in the top 5 is currently showing highly favorable plus-money odds.
